A manifesto: I am an artist; a photographer, a writer, a teller of truths. I create art to see, and be seen in my wholesness; my truth. I commit to making the work that I feel is missing from the world; art which celebrates those who have been neglected or disparaged by society and traditional art. My art empowers and uplifts. It challenges and provokes.
Predominantly landscape and documentarian, but also editorial, portrait, and event. You are more than welcome to view select works on my site: https://kellyfay.earth
Your work is inspiring me to explore self-portraiture in new ways 🌱
I did try and take a look via the link in your publication but I couldn't figure out how to navigate around your site! I'm not the most technologically competent, which is why this platform is great for me!
Oh my. I am sorry you felt it was not navigable. At this point the site is simply a singular landing page with a slow changing auto carousel of images. I purposely formatted it in this manner to invite the visitor to slow down. Which I’m aware, may cause discomfort for some given the speed of scrolling and autoplay video tech these days. Either way, you were likely not doing anything incorrectly. 💚
Ahhh, I did watch the images, but was looking for info on where you were based and what genre you shot at the time, before I thought of asking here, which is why I was frustrated! I am not the most patient at times (as you will come to see if you stick around!) as I find I ofen have more demands than time or energy but I am being forced to learn to slow down!
I have all intentions of sticking around. Despite slowing down dramatically in the past few years, patience is an area I find myself tested in quite often. It’s also a complete switch from the speed of life I used to engage with. So, on some levels, I think I understand what you’re feeling, and I certainly empathize! It’s no simple task. Especially in this world.
Otherwise, I appreciate you taking the time and sharing this feedback of your experience on my site with me. As I do have plans to expand the site some in the coming months, it’s helpful to understand external perspectives. Thank you!
Your photographic works and vision are inspiring. With love, a fellow photographer.
Thank you so much! What kind of photography do you do?

I hope you do further explore self portraiture, it's changed my life in ways I would never have imagined (and sometimes wish it hadn't!)
Thank you thank you thank you! I will be sure to keep you posted as I explore.
